Xiǎo liúqiú (小琉球), an island away from Dōnggǎng (東港) about 30min by ferry. Beside Kending (墾丁), one another hot tour spot of Pingtung (屏東) county. Most area are coral reef, and intertidal zone, very good for snorkeling. You can spend half day or one day here, homestay here a lot too. And round whole island about 3hr by scooter, so you can go in the morning and back in the afternoon, depend on your option. By the way, if you get chance, stroung recommend to enjoy 3 year around Boat burning festival (燒王船). Very special than other Boat burning festival. Also this is the biggest festival of Xiǎo liúqiú.
