瑞舞丹戲院 (Ruì wǔ dān theater), Hualien( 花蓮)

The photo is not a film set, it's a really old movie theater in Fuli (富里), Hualien( 花蓮). Over 50 years old. It's call "瑞舞丹"(Ruì wǔ dān). Glad have the chance to visit inside and even watching the movie here. Now they're restarting play movies, but not daily. Sān diāo lǐng (三貂嶺), New Taipei city (新北市).

Sān diāo lǐng (三貂嶺), New Taipei city (新北市). This is the only one train station that no highway passing of North Taiwan. It's also the branch point that Taiwan railway Yilan line (宜蘭線) and Pingxi line (平溪線). If you want to find a quite place, and not very many tourist, this place could be good for you. You can have a cup of tea here, a tea house in the village. Or do some mountain hiking here, two or three mountain trail here, one can over look waterfall. But the trail a little hard. River fishing could be here too. A good place can spend a day. smile 表情符號

三貂嶺, 新北市. 這是北台灣唯一一個沒有公路經過的車站. 它同時也是台鐵宜蘭線和平溪線的分歧點. 如您想要找一個寧靜地, 沒有太多遊客的, 這裡可能適合您. 您可以在這品茶, 有茶坊在村莊裡. 或者是登山健行, 二至三條的登山路線在這, 其中一條可以俯瞰瀑布. 但步道有一些難度. 溪釣在這也可以. 是一個可以花上一天的地方.

Hóu dòng (侯硐), New Taipei city (新北).

Hóu dòng (侯硐), New Taipei city (新北). One famous cats village of Taiwan now. But in the past, it was a colliery area, same as Píng xī (平溪), Shífēn (十分), and Jīng tóng (菁桐). You can see historical remains still here. And If you have more time, one geological landscape have to see. It's call pothole (壺穴). You will praise the magic of nature.
侯硐, 新北市. 現在台灣著名的貓村之一. 但在過去, 她是一個煤礦產區, 如平溪, 十分, 和菁桐一樣. 您仍可以看到歷史遺跡在這. 假如您有多的時間, 一個地理景觀值得一看. 它稱做壺穴. 您會讚嘆大自然的神奇.

Guǎng xìng paper factory (廣興紙寮), Puli (埔里)

Guǎng xìng paper factory (廣興紙寮), Puli (埔里). If want to talking about the history of DIY course, also factory for tourism at Taiwan, have to mention it. Yes, it's one of beginner. Here you can understand the process how to make paper with old skill, and made paper,or try some art work by yourself. One special product was eating paper. Don't be shock, it really can eat. Near by the factory, there's a museum of hand made paper with nature source, also worth take time to visit. A place very nice for family or kids.

廣興紙寮, 埔里. 如果要說起台灣DIY課程和觀光工廠的歷史, 必需要提起它. 是的, 她是開啟先河之一. 在這裡您可以了解用老工法製紙的過程, 或是嘗試自己製紙, 和藝術作品. 一個很特別產品是可以吃的紙. 別驚訝, 它真的可以吃. 離工廠附近不遠, 有一個自然素材的手作紙的博物館, 也是值得花時間參觀. 是一個很適合家族或小孩的地方.

Ta-an old railway bridge (大安舊鐵橋), Taichung (台中).

Ta-an old railway bridge, Taichung. One of Taiwan railway fans that must take photo here once. It's also memory belong to all Taiwanese. In fact, not very many Iron railway bridge on the Taiwan railway system. This is one famous, and the other longest and famous iron bridge is in Kaohsiung. Most of them take over by new railway line, or damaged by typhoon or earth quake. Some change to a park as Kaohsiung. Some kept it original as a historic site as Taichung. A part of Taiwan history.

大安舊鐵橋, 台中. 台灣鐵路粉絲們必拍點之一. 它也是屬於台灣人的記憶. 事實上, 並沒有很多的鐵橋在台灣的鐵路系統中. 這是其一著名的, 另一長的, 著名的鐵橋在高雄. 多數它們被新的鐵路路線取代, 或因颱風或地震而毀損. 有些成了公園如高雄的. 有些保留原有的如一個歷史景點如台中的. 是台灣歷史的一部分.

Běimén (北門), Tainan. Is no longer a historic sites. More and more change to the wedding photo base. Big wedding photo base for free of South Taiwan. A wall is a composition.

北門台南. 不再是一個歷史景點. 愈來愈多的改變成為了婚攝基地. 南臺灣最大的免費的婚攝基地. 一面牆是一幅布景.

Land art festival of the east coast (東海岸大地藝術節), Highway 11 (台11線)

Hand made beer (手工啤酒), Taitung (台東).

Hand made beer became popular at Taiwan. A friend she has their own shop at Dulan sugar factory. Beside the hand made beer, local artists artwork also saleing here. A warm place. It's only open around the weekend, from the noon time to the night. A tip special for summer night. You can order a hand made beer and lie down on the outside lawn, enjoy the starry skies.

Thanks Irene & Mona, from Macau, a special day trip of Taoyuan. It's a old friends meeting trip.  Irene & Mona they are best friends, and I serviced them once at 2 years ago, with different Taiwan round trip. To me, customers not only customers, friends around the world.  

Dried tofu(豆干), Dasi (大溪)

Dried tofu(豆干). A common food you can see in everywhere of Taiwan. As the foods stand, restaurants, markets,some tour spots etc... The well known places of Taiwanese is Dasi (大溪), Taoyuan (桃園). You can taste various kinds of dried tofu, also buy soy bean products here, one special things as like fermented bean curd (豆腐乳). Some foreigners they don't like it very much due to it smelling, but the smelling better than Stinky tofu (臭豆腐).
豆干. 一常見食物在台灣各處. 如小吃店, 餐館, 市場, 某些旅遊點等等... 台灣人最熟知的地方是桃園大溪. 您可以嘗到數種類的豆干, 也可以買黃豆製品在這, 某一項特別的東西是豆腐乳. 一些外國人由於它的味道不是很喜歡它, 但它的味道比臭豆腐來得好.

Golden shower tree season time. In south Taiwan as Chaiyi (嘉義) and Tainan(台南), more easy to find it.

Lóng pán prairie (龍磐草原), Kending. (墾丁)

Lóng pán prairie (龍磐草原), Kending. (墾丁)  A very nice places can enjoying the island landscape. But not only the landscape can enjoying; sun rise and sun set, even stargazing at night, here also good places of  Kending area. But not recommend to come at wind big time, you may blow away by big wind. :)

龍磐草原, 墾丁. 一個可以欣賞島嶼地景很棒的地方. 但不只是地景, 日出和日落, 甚至是夜晚觀星, 這邊都是很棒的地方在墾丁區域. 但不建議風大的時候來, 您有可能會被大風吹跑. :)

Treasure Hill (寶藏巖), Taipei

Treasure Hill (寶藏巖), a tiny mountain village in Taipei. Near by museum of drinking water (自來水博物館). An artist village right now, also a nice place to walk around. Behind the every corner all have fun, or something did catch your eyes. Really as the name, "Treasure" Hill.
寶藏巖, 台北市的一小山城. 近自來水博物館. 目前是一個藝術村, 也是一個適合散步的地方. 在每個角落都有著樂趣, 或是吸引您目光的. 真的如其名, "寶藏"巖.

Èr shuǐ (二水), Changhua (彰化).

Èr shuǐ (二水), Changhua (彰化). A lovely township, with the rice field, old street, and little high mountains. It's the Taiwan railway Jiji Line (集集線) starting. Jiji is a famous tour spot of centeral Taiwan. But, unlike Jiji so hot, here more you can feel relaxing. There are several hiking trail near by the mountain side, if you love hiking, here is also good choice. the well known is Ink stone (硯台), a necessary tools of penmanship. In old Chinese, there are four things in need in the study, called "文房四寶" ( Wén fáng sì bǎo) that is paper, writing brush, ink stick, and the Ink stone.
二水. 彰化. 一個可愛的小地方, 有田野, 老街, 和有一點小高的山. 它是台鐵集集線的起點, 集集是中台灣出名的景點. 但, 它不同於集集這麼熱鬧, 是更可以感受悠閒的地方. 靠山邊也有幾條健行步道, 如您喜愛健行,這邊是個好選擇. 二水最出名是硯台, 書法的必備工具. 在老中國, 書房有四樣必備品, 稱做文房四寶. 分別是紙, 毛筆, 墨, 硯.

Hollyhock (蜀葵), Xué jiǎ district (學甲區), Tainan (台南)

Hollyhock (蜀葵), most you can find in Chaiyi (嘉義) and Tainan. On the road, or the farm, or village etc... It's the season time view. The more you can find it in Xué jiǎ district (學甲區), Tainan. In fact, there's a hollyhock festival will held at Mar. 7th. The hollyhock can over 2 meter high and the flower with very many kind color, very beautiful especially under the sunshine. To visit Xué jiǎ district, you can have one day tour here, beside enjoy flowers, you can go visit some history site, one famous is Tzu Chi Gong (慈濟宮), the cochin pottery (交趾陶) very worth to look. Further more, you can extend the trip to Běimén (北門), yánshuǐ (鹽水), and jiā lǐ (佳里). These places also famous tour spots of Tainan. By the way, don't forget enjoy the sunset and seafood.

蜀葵, 多數在嘉義和台南可見到. 在路邊, 在田園 , 在村莊等... 是季節風景. 更多的蜀葵您可以在台南學甲區發現. 事實上, 有一個蜀葵花海節將舉行, 在3月7日. 蜀葵可以長至兩公尺高, 且有著很多的顏色, 特別在艷陽下非常的漂亮. 拜訪學甲區, 您可以有一日行在這, 除了賞花, 您還可以去一些歷史景點, 著名的是慈濟宮, 交趾陶非常值得一看. 再者, 您可以展延旅程至北門, 鹽水, 和佳里. 這些地方也是台南著名的旅點. 順帶一提, 別忘了賞夕陽和吃海鮮.

Bāshén soup (八神湯), a hidden and the limit soup

Bāshén soup (八神湯), a hidden and the limit soup at highway9, Taipei-Yilan highway (北宜公路). Why it's called a hidden and the limit soup? Because` they sale only on the weekend, and when the soup sold out will not offer any more. Believe it or not, In the past, there is a word of mouth to say, if you not drink Bāshén soup, you can not passed the Taipei-Yilan highway, because the road will let you have car sick and vomit. As my experience, this saying a little can trust.

八神湯, 台九線北宜公路上一隱藏版和限量的湯. 為何要稱它為隱藏版和限量, 因為這湯只有假日在賣, 且湯一但售完就不再提供. 信不信由你, 在過去有一口耳相傳的說法, 不喝八仙湯過不了北宜公路, 因為北宜公路會讓您暈車和嘔吐. 就我的經驗, 這說法是有點可信的.
