Paper dolls (紙人), Daoism (道教), Taiwan.

In Daoism, some time if you feel no good, or do things not very smooth, you can go to the Daoist temples request Taoist priest to help you to transfer it. The paper dolls is yours substitute, and will take away your bad feel after Taoist practices. In south Taiwan easy to see paper dolls on religious celebrations than North Taiwan. In north Taiwan, you have to go Daoist temples. If you believe, you can try it in Taiwan. :)

在道教, 有時當您感覺不好, 或做事不順時, 您可以去道教寺廟請求道士幫您轉掉它. 這紙人便是您的替身, 會幫您帶走不好的經由道士作法之後. 在南台灣容易見到紙人於宗教祭典相較於北台灣. 北台灣通常要到道教寺廟去. 如果您相信的話, 您可以嘗試一下在台灣. 

Family work (家庭代工, OEM).Taiwan.

Family work. (OEM) In early years of Taiwan, around 1960~80, it's a good part time job to earn extra money, escpeially in Military dependents, small village, in poor economy. Not easy to see in Taiwan now. It used to be Taiwanese common memories. :)

家庭代工(OEM). 在早些年的台灣, 約1960~80間, 這是一個好的賺額外錢的兼差工作, 特別在眷村, 小村莊, 經濟不佳時. 現在不容易在台灣看到了. 它曾經是台灣人共有的回憶.

Dulan mountain (都蘭山), Taitung (台東).

Face to Dulan mountain, I always revel in her style. She is Taiwan aboriginal Puyuma, and Amis holy mountain. Some old Japanese also called she "Taitung Fuji" as she look like Fuji mountain Japan. Don't forget take a photo with her. :)

Chuí zǐ liáo(槌子寮), Puli (埔里), Nantou (南投).

Chuí zǐ liáo(槌子寮), Puli (埔里), Nantou (南投). Top 5 taking Sunrise place Taiwan. To come here best have local people to bring you, because easy stray, especially when in fogging. (But fogging time will see the best view) It's between SunMoonLake (日月潭) & Puli, so if you interest, you can get up early than to here. A little extra tour of SunMoonLake or Puli.

槌子寮, 埔里, 南投. 台灣拍日出前五名的地方. 來這最好有當地人帶, 因為容易迷路, 特別在起霧時.(但起霧時看的景最美) 它介於日月潭和埔里之間, 所以如您感興趣, 可起個大早來這. 一個日月潭或埔里額外的小旅行.

Sugar draw. A traditional arts common see in early Taiwan, not easy to see right now. Some old street area, old village maybe. It used syrup that painting in the micro-hot copper. Some master can draw very detail planting like Dragon and Phoenix. But most are Simplely cartoon figures. It's old taiwanese memory. (My childhood memories too)
