Highway 3 (台3線), Taiwan.

Highway 3, a highway along the centeral mountain range (中央山脈), from north Taipei (台北) to south Pingtung (屏東). Due to it's mountain road, a lot of corners and take time, not any driver can complete it. Most choose section to run the road trip. Like from HsinChu (新竹) to MioLi (苗栗) section, more rider go for weekend. As the reason, so it kept nature, village kept old style also. And some places you can see the great view, amazing geological landscape. If you love mountain and no carsick, you can challenge it. I take you there. 台3線, 一條沿著中央山脈的公路, 從北部台北到南部屏東. 由於是山路, 很多的彎道, 且費時, 並不是任一個駕駛都能走完全程. 多數只跑部分, 如新竹到苗栗段, 假日就有很多騎士在跑. 也基於這樣的原因, 它保持了大部分的自然, 村莊也保持著舊樣式. 某些地方可以見到美麗風景, 令人讚嘆的地質景觀. 如您愛山, 也不會暈車, 您可以挑戰它. 我帶您去也行. 照片是曾文水庫, 在嘉義縣.

Thanks Miss Lo & her family, from Malaysia, did 3D2N Hualien & Taitung trip. I sure they have a very unforget memory (rainstorm, earthquake etc...)  in Taiwan. :)

BeiMen Train station (北門車站), ChiaYi city (嘉義).

BeiMen Train station, ChiaYi city. This is the first station of Ailshan forest railway (阿里山森鐵). Now the whole station turn into a cultural park, a new tourist spot in ChiaYi city. ith near by buildings, it's a big area, good for walk and look around. :)

北門車站, 嘉義市. 這是阿里山鐵路的第一站. 現在成了文化園區, 一個嘉義市的新旅點. 併著周邊的建物, 是一個大的園區, 適合散步和閒逛.

Gāo měi wetland (高美濕地), Taichung (台中).

Gāo měi wetland, Taichung. A very popular tourist spot of Taiwan. Not only Wind turbines, Migratory birds, fddler crabs etc...can see, the most important it's Yunlin Wando grass (雲林莞草) protected area. In early years, it's also one of the raw material for weaving mats. Near by Gāo měi wetland you can go Qingshui township (清水鎮) enjoy to traditional snacks, or more far to Wuchi fishing port (梧棲漁港) to enjoy seafood, a half, or a day trip here.

高美濕地, 台中. 台灣非常熱門的景點. 不只風力發電機, 候鳥, 招潮蟹等...可看, 最重要它是雲林莞草保護地. 在早些年, 雲林莞草也是編織草蓆的原料之一. 鄰近高美濕地可以去清水鎮品嘗傳統小吃, 或更遠到梧棲漁港吃海鮮, 可以是半日遊, 一日遊, 在這.

Pine Garden (松園別館), Hualien city (花蓮).

Pine Garden (松園別館), Hualien city. A popular tour spot since it opened. Nice view here, You can have a tea time, or taking photos, rest, do nothing, whatever. But remember to spray Mosquito repellent if you wear short, skirt, etc... a small mosquito will make you carzy.

松園別館, 花蓮市. 自開幕就是個熱門旅點, 有著好風景. 您可以來個午茶, 或拍照, 休息, 閒晃等...不拘. 但請記得噴防蚊液如您穿短褲短裙等...小黑蚊會讓您抓狂.

Butterfly Ginger (野薑花) season.

Butterfly Ginger, you can see everywhere in Taiwan now. From May. to Nov. is the season. Most near by field or mountain side can find it. The best wellknown to see Butterfly Ginger is in DongYuan village (東源村), Mudan Township (牡丹鄉), Pingtung (屏東). Believe it or not, all village with good smile. :)

野薑花, 現時在全台灣都可見到. 多數田野或山邊附近找得到它. 五月至十一月是花季. 最著名賞野薑花的地方是屏東縣牡丹鄉東源村. 信不信由您, 全村都飄著花香呢!
