Mǔdān station (牡丹車站), new Taipei city.

Mǔdān station (牡丹車站), new Taipei city (新北市). A small train station of railway of Yilan Line (宜蘭線). Like Pingxi Line (平溪線), here was also coal mines producing areas, but not well known as Pingxi (平溪), Shífēn (十分). Most fast train not stop here, but have to slowly to pass the station, because it's a half-moon shape platform. Very beautiful.  Mǔdān village also a nice place, more easy to touch nature. Get chance toisit here, you'll find the treasure.

牡丹火車站, 新北市. 台鐵宜蘭線上的一小火車站. 和平溪線一樣, 過去也是煤礦產區, 但不如平溪,十分有名. 多數的快車不會停這, 但一定要減速通過, 因為這邊是一個半月型月台. 非常的美. 牡丹村也是個好地方, 很容易親近自然. 有機會來這裡拜訪, 您會找到寶藏.

Kanakanavu (卡那卡那富族), Kaohsiung. Taiwan aboriginal group

Kanakanavu (卡那卡那富族), one of aborigines group of Taiwan, they lived in the Namasia district (那瑪夏區), Kaohsiung, about 500 people. The dress similar then Tsou (鄒族), but the spoken different than Tsou, more like Tsou and Bunun (布農) language combine. 2014.04.20 was theres kaisisi cakulan (河祭), an important ritual of Kanakanavu, in order to thank God of River. Glad to join. By the way, Namasia in Kanakanavu language mean "river", but in Bunun language mean "tomorrow will be better". And "thank you" is "sosomanpe".

卡那卡富族, 台灣原住民族之一, 定居於高雄那瑪夏區, 人數約500人. 服裝和鄒族類似, 但口語跟鄒族不同. 比較像鄒族和布農族語合併. 4.20.2014 是他們的kaisisi cakulan 河祭, 一個很重要的祭典, 為了感謝河神而設. 我很榮幸能參加. 順帶一提, Namasia 那瑪夏, 在卡那卡富語是"河"的意思, 在布農族語是"明天會更好". 謝謝為"sosomanpe".

Say good bye to diesel trains of Hualien and Taitung Railway (花東線鐵路).

Say good bye to diesel trains of Hualien and Taitung Railway (花東線鐵路). In the end of June, by the electrification of Hualien and Taitung Railway finished, will never see. A little sad for me, because diesel trains are the part view of east rift valley landscapes. I took some beautiful photos, even my customers did. But for the taking time is longer from Taipei to Taitung (about 6 hr), it should be changed. ( about 4hr30min) So, herry to visit these diesel trains, before the end of June. Otherwise you have to go Railway museum only.

跟花東線的柴油火車說再見. 在六月底, 隨著花東線鐵路電氣化的完成, 將不再能見到它們. 對我來說有一點小感傷, 因為這些柴油火車是花東縱谷風景的部分. 我有拍了些美麗的照片, 我的客人也有. 但為了台北到台東所花的長時間(約六小時) 改變是必需的. (約4小時30分) 所以, 在六月底前快來拜訪這些柴油火車吧! 否則您只能去鐵路博物館看了.

Dà dào chéng (大稻埕), Taipei city.

Sunset view of Dà dào chéng (大稻埕), Taipei city. Compare to Dànshuǐ (淡水) so popular and crowd, here more quite and easy. Dà dào chéng is one of old towns of Taipei, but it affected Taipei's modern history. Along the Dihua Street (迪化街), you can easy to find it was a business area. Clothes, Chinese medicine, dry goods, daily necessities, most old shops still opened. More far to Taipei bridge (台北橋), it was a gathering place of part time job workers, they build most Taipei city buildings in 50's~80's. By the way, near by Taipei bridge also a night market here, called Daqiaotou Night Market (大橋頭夜市), most traditional food stalls, and cheap. If you want to know Taipei old history, you can come to visit here, more stories you can listen, and more old life style can enjoy.

 台北市大稻埕的夕陽. 相較淡水的熱門和擁擠, 這邊顯得安靜和輕鬆. 大稻埕是台北的舊城區之一, 但它影響了台北的近代歷史. 沿著迪化街, 您可以很容易發現它過去是商業區. 布匹,中藥, 南北貨, 日用品...多數的老店仍開著. 更遠來到台北橋, 它過去是打工工人的聚集地, 50年代到80年代台北市多數的建築都是他們建的. 順帶一提, 靠近台北橋也有一個夜市, 叫大橋頭夜市, 多數是傳統小吃攤, 且便宜. 如您想要了解台北的舊歷史, 您可以來這拜訪, 很多的故事可以聽到, 很多的舊日生活您也可以享受到.

Pinuyumayan (卑南族), Taitung.

Nice to visit 2 years around Pinuyumayan 卑南族 festival, one of aborigines of Taiwan. Pinuyumayan they all lived in Taitung, from Jhinben (知本) to Chulu (初鹿) all it's area. Taiwan some best aboriginal singer are come from this group, as A mei (阿妹), Chen Chien-nien (陳建年), Ji Xiaojun (紀曉君) etc... MuraHijavan (海祭) in July (sea festival), Mangayau (大獵祭) in December (big hunting festival), were their most important festival. One fast train called Puyuma (普悠瑪) of Taiwan railway, also named as one Pinuyumayan tribe.
有幸參加兩年一回的卑南族年祭, 台灣原住民族的一支.卑南族世居在台東, 從知本到初鹿都是他們的居住範圍. 台灣某些知名的原住民歌手也來自這族群, 如阿妹, 陳建年, 紀曉君等...7月的MuraHijavan(海祭), 12月的Mangayau(大獵祭)是他們重要的祭典. 台鐵一快車叫普悠瑪號也是以卑南族其一的部落命名.
