Paragliding in the east coast Taiwan

Paragliding in the east coast, Fenglin(鳳林) of Hualien county could be the best place to play. No big strong wind distrub, airflow stable, and the nice view. You can have one day tour with Ruisui Rafting(瑞穗泛舟), morning paragliding, and afternoon Rafting. To play paragliding better make reservation a week before. A summer time good choice.

飛行傘在東海岸, 花蓮縣的鳳林可能是最適合的地方. 沒有大風干擾, 氣流穩定, 美景. 結合瑞穗泛舟您可以有個一日遊在這. 上午飛行傘, 下午泛舟. 玩飛行傘最好在一周以前預訂. 一個夏休的好選擇.

Thanks Miss Lee & friends, from Tainan, 3D3N East coast trip. They came for playing Paragliding at Hualien. Very good luck them. Every good condition of playing Paragliding they met. You can't believe the day before was raining day, and after they finished, the rain fall again. Glad had a good time with them.

Summer Taiwan

Siraya (西拉雅族), Taiwan aboriginal group

Siraya, one of  Taiwan aborigines, but not recognized by the Taiwan government. Local government recognized only. Most they lived in Chia-Yi & Tai-Nan, and they could be the first whom have the dealing with foreigners & Han(漢) people. Want to know about Siraya, you can go Jali (佳里), Tainan. There's a culture village, and a culture park (佳里糖廠,Jali sugar factory) with the basic introducing. Indigenous Peoples are treasures of Taiwan, They enriched the culture of Taiwan.

西拉雅族, 台灣原住民族的一支, 但尚未被台灣政府認可. 目前只有地方政府認可而已. 他們多數住在嘉義和台南, 也可能是台灣原住民族最早和外國人和漢人有交易往來的一支. 想要認識更多西拉雅, 您可以到台南的佳里. 那裏有個文化村和文化公園(佳里糖廠)有著基本的介紹. 原住民族是台灣的珍寶, 他們豐富了台灣的文化.

Due to the end product look like scallion white section, so as named. In some Taiwan's old street you can find it, taste a little sweet and crispy, can be a choice of Taiwan hand carry.

糖蔥, 一台灣傳統手工糖果. 師傅先拿取熱的麥芽糖並繞在木棒上, 然後一回又一回的拉跟繞直至顏色將白, 然後便等它涼並切斷.由於成品像青蔥白色部份因此得名. 在台灣的老街您找得到它, 嘗起來一點點甜咬起來是脆的, 可以是台灣伴手裡的一個選擇.

Chénglóng wetlands (成龍濕地), Yun Lin county (雲林).

An art work near by Chénglóng wetlands (成龍濕地), Yun Lin county. In fact, there's a International Environmental Art Festival helding on. It's one year exhibition, so whenever you come to Taiwan in 2013, you can see it. Love art? Welcome. But strong recommend not go on the weekend, and no big tour bus, there's no full parking space, and the road small.

Salt farm eco-village(鹽田生態村), Sihcao(四草), Tainan.

Salt farm eco-village, Sihcao(四草), Tainan. A nice place to visit but not weekend. Old village, salt farm, bird singing, you can have a quite time here. Sihcao, wellknown mangroves, there's mangroves trail that is one top view of Taiwan. And some Taiwanese that they called it little amazon. Here not to far to Anping(安平), can be a half or a day trip here.

鹽田生態村, 四草, 台南. 非假日適合來的地方. 老村莊, 鹽田, 鳥鳴, 您可以享受寧靜片刻這裡. 四草以紅樹林著名. 有一條隧道是台灣極景之一. 也有一些台灣人稱這為小亞馬遜. 這離安平不太遠, 可以是半日行或一日行在這. 

奉茶(Fengcha), the way of more blessed to give than to receive.

奉茶(Fengcha), serving tea, not common seeing in Taiwan now. But in the past, about 60years ago, it's common seeing in farm village, or mountain road. In some Taiwan's hiking trail there's no water. Fengcha that is all people to bring it up and serving everyday. It's the way of "more blessed to give than to receive". Don't forget to thanksgiving if you find it and drink it.

奉茶. 現在在台灣已不常見到. 但在過去,60年前, 常見於農村或山路上. 在台灣某些登山步道並沒有水. 奉茶都是人們每天帶上去提供的. 它是施比受有福的一種展現. 別忘了致上感謝如您見到並且喝下它.

Su Hua Highway (蘇花公路).

Su Hua Highway, Highway9, Su-ao to Hua-lien. You have to go once if your traveling around Taiwan. In the past, about 30 years ago, it's really dangerous highway, only one line, and you have to stop in village on the way for waiting traffic control. No more dangerous than ever now. (feature also) But great view stll. And the view you can not seeing on the train, only on highway.

蘇花公路, 如您來台灣環島一定要走一回. 在過去, 約30年前, 它確實是很危險的一條公路. 只有單線, 且必需停留在沿線村莊等待交通管制. 現在並不如以前危險了. (未來也是) 但壯麗風景依然. 這景無法在火車上見到, 只有在公路上.

Gongliao (貢寮), New Taipei (新北市).

Gongliao, a stop of North Link Railway (北迴鐵路). One of Parallel to railway and road in north Taiwan. A quite and pure village. No very many tourist visit here. Most are local people. If you're railway fans, you can choice here for short stop. Take a short walk or ride bicycle to enjoy the country view. Out of here and the way to Fulong (福隆) is another view, coast line view.

貢寮,北迴鐵路上的一個站. 北台灣道路和鐵路平行的地方之一. 一個安靜且純真的村莊. 這裡並沒有太多遊客來, 多數是當地人. 如您是鐵道迷您可以選擇這裡做短暫停留. 走一小段路或騎自行車享受鄉間景色. 離開這往福隆方向又是一個景, 海岸線.
