Maybe you don't know, we ate as sauerkraut(酸菜), pickles(鹹菜), potherb mustard (雪裡紅), mustard greens (梅干菜), all its by-products. It is also one of Chinese new year dinner, most making suop. And has the blessing : the hard times are over, the good times just beginning (苦盡甘來), long life, etc... If you planing have a Chinese New Year in Taiwan, you can try it. :)

Liù duī(六堆) Hakka Cultural Park (六堆客家文化園區), Neipu (內埔), Pingtung (屏東).

Liù duī(六堆) Hakka Cultural Park, in Neipu, Pingtung. It's a new tour spot just 1year. The view really nice, and good for family. Although no more Hakka Cultural introduce in the park, but some old things like Rice mill, Smoke House, you can find it. Also you can have DIY Blue dye, a old Hakka color use for fabric. Can be a half day trip here.

六堆客家文化園區, 內埔, 屏東. 一個新的旅點, 開幕只有一年的時間. 景色非常美麗也適合全家人來. 雖然並沒有客家文化的介紹在園區內, 不過可見到碾米廠, 菸樓, 這一些老東西. 您可以DIY藍染於這, 藍染是一種老客家的顏色使用在織品上. 可以是半日行在這裡.

Hakka salty rice balls, one of popular Hakka snacks in Taiwan. Simple and can be complex( more burden), and good taste. In south Taiwan, more easy to find it than north. If you have chance to visit Hakka villages in Taiwan, you can try it. Also it's a good snacks in winter time. :)

Zhōng Shè flower market (中社花市), Hòu Lǐ (后里), Taichung (台中).

Tulip in Zhōng Shè flower market, Hòu Lǐ township. Zhōng Shè flower market is one of hot wedding photo taken place in Taichung. It looking like a small garden, every season they have their own flower show, very beautiful. Near by Zhōng Shè you can go Tai-an railway culture park (泰安鐵道文化園區), or go Sanyi (三義) to see wood craving, or more far away to Xin-She (新社) to have a garden cafe, can be half day or one day tour here.
