Less and less pure sand beach or Public sand beach in Taiwan. Most sand beach to be hotel resort's private beach. Sand beach should be public, and whole people can use, also need cherish. Don't you think so? It can be treasure of Taiwan, or treasure of world.

Thanks Miss Chao & Friends from Taipei, did 2d1n Taitung trip. Today could be an excited day for them. Saw over 10 hot air ballnoon flying, over 70% opened daylily in perfect timing.

Zìzhù xīncūn (自助新村), Zuoying (左營), Kaohsiung (高雄).

Zìzhù xīncūn (自助新村), a military dependents (眷村) in Zuoying, Kaohsiung. The report said it will tear down, but don't know the really day. Nice to take photos here, every corner with the fun. It can be one hour or two hour tour here, combine with Lianchihtan (蓮池潭), Chiaotou Sugar factory (橋頭糖廠) , or near by tour spots can extend one day tour. Another choice Kaohsiung tour.

Sunrise & Sunset, Taiwan.

Customers first time to Taiwan, they may asking same question when they're in the east coast. Can see the Sunset? Believe me, Some Taiwanese got same question too. Due to the central mountain range (over 1000m), Sunrise and Sunset can not seeing in one place. Beside the northeast corner, the most south point, Taiwan. This two place no high mountain so that can see Sunrise and Sunset at one day. Next time if you asking me same question, I sure explaining again and again with smile. :)

Xīnguāng pier, Kaohsiung city. A place can enjoy sunset. The night view beautiful also. It's near by 85 building (85大樓), a highest building in Kaoshsiung, and more daily rental houses inside. And not to far to Sān duō business district (三多商圈), a good choice to walk around.

新光碼頭, 可以賞夕陽的地方, 夜景也很漂亮. 它靠近85大樓, 高雄市最高的大樓, 最多日租套房於這. 離三多商圈也不遠, 是漫步的好選擇.

Flower of betel nut (檳榔花)

Flower of betel nut, one of the fragrance of summer. I like it than grapefruit flowers. It can eat, also one of Taiwanese cuisine. But summer only. You can try if you see it. :)

檳榔花, 夏日的清香之一. 我喜歡它的味道勝過柚子花. 它可以吃, 也是台菜之一, 但是是夏季限定. 如您有看到它可以試試味道看看.

Parade Formation (陣頭).

Parade Formation. A folk activities in Taiwan. More and more becoming to a Art performance. Common see in Taoist temple with festival or master birthday. But more than 10 years ago or longer, this is a ritual of driving away or rein bad things. Here is Sanyuan beach, Taitung. 28th July they did a protest concert here to oppose the resort. The resort is illegal that court decision.

陣頭. 台灣的民俗活動之一. 有愈來愈多成為了一種藝術表演. 通常能見是在道教寺廟的祭典或王爺公生日. 但在十年前或更早, 這是一驅趕或收服不好的東西的一種儀式. 這裡是台東杉原灣, 七月28日這裡舉辦了一保護杉原灣的音樂會, 為了反對渡假村.　這渡假村是法院判決不合法的.

Hongmaogang culture park (紅毛港文化園區), Kaohsiung (高雄).

Hongmaogang culture park, Kaohsiung. A new tourist spot of kaohsiung city. A place can enjoy sunset and see big ships in and out. Not easy to find, though it has road signs. Best way is taking ferry to here. But, forgive me, I like the past than the new. It was a whole fishing village, over a century. Memoey left only.

紅毛港文化園區, 高雄市. 新的旅遊點. 一個可以欣賞夕陽和看大船出港入港的地方. 不太容易找, 雖然沿途有指標. 最好的方式是搭渡輪來. 但是, 請原諒我, 我喜歡舊風貌勝過新面容. 它過去是一個超過百年的完整的漁村. 只剩回憶而已.

Pingtung road 35 (屏35), Majia township (瑪家鄉), Pingtung (屏東).

Pintung road 35 (屏35), a road to the Majia township (瑪家鄉), with the nice view here. But the road is tiny, damage, not suggest go up when raining or rain stop after one week. To come here you should have 2d1n. You can stay in Sāndìmén (三地門), Shuǐmén (水門) one night next day to go up. Nice weather day you can look faraway to Kaohsiung city. And near by there's a waterfall called Liángshān waterfall (涼山瀑布), easy to walk. Summer time to come here is the best. :)

屏35, 一條通往瑪家鄉的路, 有著美麗的風景. 但路小, 危險, 不建議下大雨, 或大雨過後一周上去. 來這基本需要兩天一夜, 您可以住三地門, 水門, 然後隔日上山. 天氣好時可遠眺高雄市. 同時附近還有一個瀑布叫涼山瀑布, 走起來輕鬆. 夏日來這是最好不過了.

Sea Rice (海稻米), Shihtiping (石梯坪), Hualien (花蓮).

Near by Shihtiping, highway11, Hualien. There's a rice field growing with traditional method, all manpower. Soon will into harvesting. Local people said the harvest would near by Mid August. Welcome to join. You can try and get the chance to take the rice you harvest. :)

台11線上, 近花蓮石梯坪, 有一片稻田是用古法種植, 皆是用人力. 很快的就將要收割. 當地人說收割將會在八月中旬左右. 歡迎來參加. 您可以嘗試並有機會拿回您所收割的稻米.

Harvest festival in Gǎngkǒu tribe (港口部落), Hualien (花蓮).

Harvest festival in Gǎngkǒu tribe (港口部落), Hualien. From the oldest to the youngest, they don't care how big the rain, keep dancing and non stop over 3hr more. I deeply felt admiration. The harvest festival of Gǎngkǒu tribe, wellknown in all Amis (阿美族) tribe, because it kept tradition, has a rigorous class system, and has very beautiful melody. By the way, they called Pangcah themself not Amis. And they said thank you called "A ray"

花蓮港口部落的收穫祭. 我深深的感到敬佩, 從最年長的到最年輕的, 不畏雨有多大, 不休息的持續的跳舞超過三小時餘. 港口部落的收穫祭, 在阿美族部落是出了名. 他們保持著傳統, 有著嚴謹的階級制度, 更有美麗的樂曲. 順帶一提, 他們稱他們自己為 Pangcah, 非Amis. 謝謝是"A ray"
